Sarah Martinico
Founder
Sarah Martinico started her professional career at BMG supporting over 2 million songs in catalogue marketing, research and partnerships for clients such as Quincy Jones, Johnny Cash, Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Strictly Rhythm, Primary Wave and many more. While her time at BMG, she founded and created the first-ever royalty- bearing stems for sale from a major publisher's catalogue via Avid Pro Tools which was featured in Billboard, DJ magazine, etc. She went on to work for Native Instruments' Sounds team where she worked directly with a-list clients such as Redwine (Gaga, Chris brown), Huey Dunbar (dlg), DJ Nelson, Bob Robinson (Tim & Bob), Albert Menendez (Shakira, Nathy Peluso, Black Eyed Peas) and numerous others to develop sound packages for Native's gear and to support worldwide marketing campaigns.
Sarah founded her consulting company in 2020 and has worked for numerous Grammy-winning producers, songwriters and artists from the pop, urban, r&b, electronic and latin worlds in marketing, branding, partnerships, catalogue management, project management and consulting. She has also work for music tech, audio companies, nft/metaverse companies, music lifestyle events, record labels, events, sports teams and non-profits. Sarah is a graduate and scholarship recipient of Berklee College of Music and with a Bachelors in Music Production and Engineering. She is also a songwriter, audio editor and guitarist. Rikki RinconOperating PartnerSpanning over several decades Rikki Rincon has managed to work in so many roles and facets of the entertainment, media, marketing and digital industries. A native of Dallas, Texas, Rikki landed his first role, literally, in a major motion picture by Universal Pictures featuring the legend, Michael Caine, "The Island". This experience certainly gave Rikki the bug to remain in the industry.
From acting to a career in radio broadcasting, Rikki worked at the hottest properties in the DFW market, from 100.3FM Jamz, K-104FM, KICK 99.1FM, KNON 89.3FM. From radio air personality to Promotions Director, Rikki worked in radio almost 15 years. It was during this same time Rikki and his family were producing the largest and most attended festivals around Texas. From 90,000 attendees at Fair Park venue in Dallas to shows around Houston, San Antonio to much more. This combination of radio on air and promotions to on premise for major festivals gave Rikki all the tools to work with major celebrities. The list ranges from Selena, RUN DMC, Cypress Hill, Luis Enrique, Stevie B, Intocable, La Mafia, Oscar D Leon and so many more. As Rikki's career moved on he was very fascinated in all things media, public relations and decided to place a heavy focus in tech, digital and this has been his stronghold ever since. From artist media relations, tour booking to maintaining social media marketing, now brand management for major recording artists, Rikki finally arrived to an area that now made all he invested time and years with make sense. He absolutely loves brand partnerships, aligning the right brand with the celebrity to create wonderful relationships. Rikki has been in this specific space now going on 15 years and over the past several years, major brand deals have been landed for Jennifer Lopez, Maluma and others in areas of music videos and tour sponsorships. As Founder/Partner of Activ8 Live, Rikki takes his lifelong passion into every partnership and collaboration. The most fascinating part of Rikki's career is being available to work with the very best in the industry and the SL Music and Marketing partnership has been a great one. From the brand partnerships, tour sponsor opportunities to now technology the sky is the limit and Rikki is always here for it. |
